Deplan is an environmental engineering and consultancy company with over 30 years of experience in the sector. Given their long professional track record, the time had come to refresh their brand, and at V3rtice we took on the task of proposing a complete rebranding.
Deplan’s mission is to be a benchmark in sustainability and environmental management, helping clients improve efficiency and reduce their environmental impact. However, both their corporate identity and website design were outdated and failed to communicate this vision.
At V3rtice, we got to work and proposed a full rebranding to update their visual identity and design a new website that would help them communicate their message, position their brand, and attract new clients.
A rebranding proposal: a strategy beyond aesthetics
At V3rtice, we didn’t just change the brand’s look. Our design team analyzed Deplan’s essence, values, and vision to create a visual identity aligned with their positioning as a sustainable, innovative, and professional company that remains approachable.
For our design agency, rebranding isn’t just about appearance — it’s a deep transformation that strengthens brand strategy.
Objectives of the visual identity update
- Modernize their visual identity to reflect a more contemporary image aligned with the brand’s values and evolution.
- Convey professionalism, sustainability, and innovationb — key pillars of their current positioning.
- Reinforce their credibility as a company with extensive experience capable of delivering outstanding results.
How we aligned Deplan's values with their new brand image
To redesign a company like Deplan’s visual identity, we had to modernize the brand without losing its essence, while also projecting innovation.
We began with the logo: the new design combines text and illustration to clearly and attractively convey the brand’s values and purpose.
We created a visual composition that grabs attention at first glance. We chose three essential elements of nature — water, air, and earth — and represented them through a drop, a stylized wind figure, and a leaf. We played with contrasting tones in three vibrant colors to highlight each element.
The result symbolizes the pillars of environmental balance that guide Deplan’s sustainable solutions. Thanks to this new identity, Deplan has:
Defined a visual identity built around a vivid color palette that reinforces sustainability and innovation.
Unified their image across all communication channels, especially in their digital presence, enhancing visual consistency.
Differentiated themselves in the sector with a recognizable, modern identity aligned with their purpose of offering sustainable solutions.
V3rtice’s challenge: creating a new visual identity adapted to the web redesign
Redesigning the website of a company like Deplan posed several challenges: not only did we need to modernize the brand while retaining its essence, but we also had to ensure that the rebranding strategy worked seamlessly on the website. The user experience had to be simple and intuitive, making it easy to navigate the company’s range of services.
1. Updating the brand image without losing roots
The first major challenge was creating a brand that felt relevant and contemporary in the environmental sector without alienating their existing audience. At V3rtice, we carefully redesigned the logo and color palette with the web application in mind.
Unifying a brand with multiple service lines
Deplan covers diverse areas such as environmental management, risk prevention, energy efficiency, legal consultancy, and technical training. The brand guidelines had to include all these areas with clarity and coherence. Defining the company’s DNA and desired values from the outset was essential.
Balancing technical expertise, trust, and sustainability
In sectors like Deplan’s, the brand must convey professionalism, while also expressing approachability and environmental commitment. The challenge was to communicate this dual message. The color palette, typography, and tone of the brand manual were designed to reflect this balance.
Translating all of this into a user-oriented, functional website
The website redesign served as the main communication channel to reflect Deplan’s new identity. The old site didn’t showcase their expertise or support easy navigation.
The V3rtice team redesigned a visually engaging and well-structured website. The new content architecture reorganizes Deplan’s offering in a clear, user-friendly way that prioritizes a smooth and intuitive experience.
As in the rebranding manual, the website highlights the logo colors — green, blue, and sky blue. Green, associated with sustainability and nature, is interwoven with the rest of the palette and used as a consistent accent color (for buttons and links), drawing attention to key actions without overwhelming the design.
Outcome: a brand ready for the future
Thanks to this collaboration between Deplan and V3rtice, the brand has undergone a solid transformation of its visual identity — one that not only improves visibility and consistency, but also reinforces its leadership in sustainability and environmental consultancy. A purposeful new identity, ready for the next 30 years.
